The Clique challenge
Both technical and workflow solutions were required to deliver the objective:
Technical: The development of print technology in the form of a watermark to provide a link from the static content to the retailer to enable browsing and/or purchasing in a click.
Workflow: Designers, content originators, photographers, brand managers and PR agencies all requiring input into the magazine were working across multiple sites, London and Leeds based.
The Clique team needed an online workflow management solution to enable all members to access the magazine and build remotely.
The Rivendell solution
Working together with Clique Compass, Rivendell developed a streamlined process to incorporate a digital watermark into every image, hidden to the human eye but readable by Android and iOS mobile devices.
Once the artwork was created by the Clique team using Rivendell cloud based servers, the production team then managed the final artwork, repro and print stage together with digital version completion.
